We shall construct some simple html divs to create the html box and then apply CSS techniques to make a text box which is fully enclosed and automatically expands with the content that is placed inside of it. I use them on my website to put links inside of them and to separate content. The text box code is simple to implement and execute and is very fast loading ! ***** Check out the Written CSS Text Box tutorial at my website for further information www.dreamweavertutorial.co.uk ****** Follow me on Twitter : www.twitter.com My RSS Feed for Advanced Dreamweaver Tutorial updates : www.dreamweavertutorial.co.uk

super tare asta
For some reason my text doesn’t stay in the box.
I have all the divs and the CSS right.
But it could be that I am writing in the the divs and text in PHP. But it should work, the page source appears to be right, but the text just doesn’t stay within the boundaries.
How do I add boxes in word press on a basic main page (not side bar!)
This guy totally rocks for this!
@CaelumH
Did you put the paragraph in the “top” div or the “holder” div?
i am writing a css code and run in mozila, IE, chrome ,but css code not working perfectly. it’s work in mozila only. plzz help me how to fix this one…plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
This was another really helpful video, thank you. Is there a good way to make the content scrollable within the box? I’ve managed to make it scrollable but outside the box (so the 1px solid border is within a scrolling area and the bottom gets hidden by the limited scroll area – it looks messy!)
Many thanks in advance.
Super video!
Very helpfull to understand steps for building css3-textboxes.
Contains very complex information for foreign users. You have user-friendly speed, very good display and audio-technic. I had fun to study it, learned much in a few time and will repeat, till i have the “internal-image-click”!
At now I will visit your website with great interest
Thanks very much!
You’re awesome, buddy! Thank you a lot
Hi ,
Good video!
How do I make rounded corners for other browsers ? ( Looks like -moz-border-radius-topright:12px; is for mozilla)
Neethi
Very Good !! Thank You .
Dreamweaver is bullshit
. Why don’t you use Notepad ++ or something else to show ?. I think it’s the way better.
For Beginners, I agree. I once used DW and i think it slows down learning a bit. Writing it yourself helps you familiarize with all the Html tags and CSS rather than machine writing it for you. it’s not complicated. Dreamweaver is used by more advanced users for Web industry rapid development. I still use DW too for page templating, debugging, and linking to pages, batch editing renaming etc…
i’m an avid Notepad++ user too…
